What is Vastu Shastra?
Vastu Shastra is based on various energies that come from the atmosphere like solar energy from the sun, cosmic energy, lunar energy, thermal energy, magnetic energy, light energy and wind energy. These energies can be balanced to enhance peace, prosperity, and success for inmates of the Vastu Balance house. It is believed to bring in harmony and aimed towards drawing positive cosmic energy into people’s lives. The science behind this is that vastu calculates rainfall, sunrise and sunset to figure out the ideal way to construct a house.
How Vastu Shastra Works?
Vastu Shastra is based on the concept of scientifically combining the five basic elements – Water, Air, fire, Earth and Space – to create a pleasant setting. Sky (West) denotes expansions and enhancements; Vayu (East, Northeast) joy and happiness; Agni (South) power and fame; Water (North) spirituality & healing; and Earth (Centre) for stability, peace & harmony.
Importance of Vastu Shastra.
In the present times, Vaastu Shastra is popular across the world. The reason behind this is the universal need for peace and harmony, which the application of Vaastu Shastra in home construction and design is supposed to bring along with promises of good health, wealth and happiness in life. The vibes created in a vastu houses are much healthier and happier than the non-vastu buildings. It also gives some form of assurance when you are buying or moving to a new house.
Vastu and it's Directions.
Vastu Shastra is a science of directions and energies combining the five elements known as “Paanchbhootas” namely Water, Air, Earth, Fire and Space of nature and balance them for the benefit of mankind. Vastu has 16 Zones: North (N), North North East (NNE), North East (NE), East North East (ENE), East (E), East South East (ESE), South East (SE), South South East (SSE), South (S), South South West (SSW), South West (SW), West South West (WSW), West (W), West North West (WNW), North West (NW).
